For every prompt and every weekly run, MentionRadar keeps five fields: whether ChatGPT named your brand, your place in the numbered list, whether the answer recommended you, which competitors were named and, from Growth, the pages ChatGPT cited when it searched the web.
Position is read from the answer itself. The tracker walks the lines, finds list items such as "1." or "2)" and takes the number of the first item that names you. If ChatGPT replies in plain prose, the run records the mention and the recommendation and leaves position blank instead of inventing one.
You also get the full answer text for each run, so when your rank drops you can read exactly what ChatGPT said about the competitor that moved above you.
